The Forum was held in Melbourne Australia from 7 to 10 April 2008, hosted by the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office.

The Forum included National, State, Territory and provincial Auditors-General and legislative auditors, and representatives from regional associations of public sector audit.

The Forum aimed to provide:

• An understanding of shared challenges faced by public sector auditors
• Opportunities to draw on good ideas in other regions
• Potential for collaboration on shared issues
• Stronger networks and opportunities for professional exchange
